Backbends unite strength and flexibility while challenging us mentally. Gain the tools needed to improve your backbends while exploring new variations and building confidence to add more to your practice. We will identify the muscles that need to be stretched and strengthened, beginning with a flow uniquely designed to warm up the body for backward bending. The remainder of the time will be spent progressively delving into deeper backbends. Poses will range from beginner to more advanced with plenty of modifications.
